What is the Mega Access Passport ?

The Mega Access Passport is an open source leveraging of SmartCard technology for the purpose of enhancing the traditional services offered by the historic banking and military industries. We have chosen the JavaCard form of this technology to support open development and hopefully OS independance. Thats the dream at least. Because of the memory and microprocessor embedded in the JavaCard, a great deal more than a simple alergy can be relayed to emergancy medical personnel at the scene of an accident. In fact it is possible to carry the most important parts of your medical record every where you go.

Windows 2000 and Windows XP Issues:

We have no problems to report for now, but we have only just begun to plan the archetecture and design. We will make every effort to ensure the product is OS independant, however, our first release will not be tested on other platforms. This will be left for future development cycles.
